Passito dello Stretto
Since the VIIIth century b.C. in Calabria the production of raisin wines was widely spread.Up to now, we produce the raising wine “STRETTO” using white Greek and Alexandrian Muscat (local Zibibbo) grapes, raised in the terrace vineyards wich give on to the “STRETTO” (straits of Messina).

ASPECT | Amber color with golden reflections. |
SMELL | Sweet scent floral. |
TASTE | Amber-coloured with golden reflections, sweet floral flavour, apricot sensation, honey-sweet, intense,very long, very persistent, very “STRAITS”. |
SUGGESTION | Serve chilled or at ambient temperature. |
FOOD PAIRING | Perfect for after meal, accompanied by the Calabrian biscuits with almonds and honey. Interesting also it used as an ingredient in many rice dishes, cocktails, ice creams. “DRUNK FRESH TO A LOT OF JOY” |
